Write your dissertation on topics that relate to pre-Meiji or Meiji Japan by using primary sources in the original language

Weekly meetings for the reading of calligraphy

This is an extra-curricular activity that will allow you to familiarize yourself with the script used in manuscripts and printed books in pre-Meiji Japan.
